The 18th annual Lakefield Jazz Art & Craft Festival on the River invites you, your friends and family to come to a breezy day of outdoor summer living beside Lakefield's scenic Otonabee River to enjoy a wide variety of Jazz music, colourful works for sale by artisans and crafters, plus interesting foods and ice cold beverages.

Lakefield 5K Run & Walk

Lakefield 5K "Run the River" supports  the Ontario Speed Skating Oval and the Canadian Mental Health Association.  Lakefield VisionCare is proud to be a GOLD SPONSOR for this event and the doctors and staff eagerly participated in this run/walk.

May 2016 is Vision Health Month

This May, Doctors of Optometry Canada and CNIB were calling on all Canadians to do one simple thing that could save their eye sight: Get an eye exam from a Doctor of Optometry.

Township of Selwyn - Polarfest January 2016

Dr. Heyden Cycles Across Canada

Dr. Rick Heyden is achieving a personal goal by cycling from Vancouver, British Columbia to Thunder Bay, Ontario.  He started his journey on August 16, 2015 and is expected home on September 21, 2015.  Good luck and have fun Dr. Heyden!

Cycle For Sight - Dr. Heyden rides 150km!

On June 20, 2015, Dr. Heyden completed a 150km ride as part of Cycle for Sight, which raised money for the Foundation Fighting Blindness.  Way to go Dr. Heyden!
